At Regional West Medical Center, a Guest Relations representative is available to assist patients and families. Our goal is to provide you with excellent, quality care and to be responsive to your needs.

A Guest Relations Representative may be contacted at any time prior to or during your stay at 308.630.1442. (Within the hospital, dial 1442.)

Services within the hospital:

Visiting Hours: As your condition and desire warrants, family and friends may visit you at any time during your stay. In consideration of you and care givers, please limit your visitors to two at a time. Volunteers who staff the information office can provide directions and wheelchairs seven days a week.

Parking: You may park free in the lots south of the hospital. If you expect to be at the hospital for several days, ask a staff member to have a security guard check your car periodically. Long term parking on the north side of the hospital is available, including some RV hook-ups.

Telephones: Family and friends can call directly to the telephone in your room from outside the hospital by dialing 630-1 and the room number.

Valuables: Please leave valuables including jewelry, larger amounts of money and credit cards at home. We cannot be responsible for the loss of money or other valuables left in your room.

Waiting areas: There are specifically designated lounge areas for visitors on each hospital unit. Special areas are available for our outpatient and inpatient surgical patients.

Mail: Mail is delivered daily to our patients. Letters, cards and flowers can be sent to you in care of Regional West Medical Center

Click on this e-mail address (guestrelations@rwmc.net) to send a message to family or friends during their stay at Regional West Medical Center. Please include the patients' first and last name. We will print your message and deliver it to the patient Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Messages received outside these hours will be delivered on the next business day. If the patient is not listed in the directory we will not be able to deliver the message.
 
(Please note that in general, Internet e-mail is not secure. We recommend that items considered confidential or personal (i.e. diagnosis, treatment, credit card numbers or Social Security numbers) not be communicated through e-mail.

Meals: Visitors and employees enjoy nutritious meals at The Park Bench. It offers complete meals and a la cart dining including daily specials. Employees, families of patients, and senior citizens are eligible for discounts on meals.

Hours: Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Breakfast: 6 to 10:15 a.m.; Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.; Supper: 4:30 to 7 p.m.; Deli: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Breakfast 6:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.; Lunch 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Deli: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chapel/Chaplain: Our chaplain is available 24 hours a day for spiritual support for you and your family. To access the chaplain, dial the operator and have them page the chaplain. The hospital chapel is located on the first floor across from the inpatient surgical waiting room.

Gift Shop: Staffed by volunteers, Regional West's Gift Shop is located in the hospital's main lobby. Gift Shop profits go directly to the Volunteers and Friends of Regional West and is used to fund health care-related scholarships, programs and equipment.

With new inventory arriving weekly, the Gift Shop offers a variety of gift choices as well as fresh and silk floral arrangements, reading material, cards, jewelry and candy. The following credit cards are accepted: MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Hours: Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. & Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
