Regional West Foundation Awards $12,000 in West Nebraska Blood Center Scholarships

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― The Regional West Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce that $12,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 15 undergraduate students through the West Nebraska Blood Center.

Kossi Amoussou, Grace Anderson, Adriana Burmeister, Binita Shakya, Adam Starzec, Amber Szaro, Jonathan Vazquez, and John West were each awarded $1,000; Allison Hewett and Mikah Kavan each received $750; and Audra Nolting, Sheila Renteria Salgado, Emma Roberts, Karalyn Stevens, and Ava Trickler each received $500.

To be eligible for a West Nebraska Blood Center scholarship, students must be pursuing a career in laboratory medicine (this includes medical laboratory scientist, medical laboratory technician, cytotechnologist, histotechnologist, pathological assistant, and pathologist).
